Poplar board, yep it’s laminated with fiberglass. Why? The texture and look of fiberglass is awesome.

    What did you make the stub out of and how much would a displacement hull go for?

    Hey Austin,

    I made the stub out of regular surfboard materials: polyester foam, resin, fiberglass, and plywood for the fins. In general hulls cost from 600 to 900ish.
